Taskforce Goals

The UH CCE Technology Division Transition Task Force was seated in spring 2022 charged with the smooth transition of all the college’s programs to UH at Sugar Land. The weekly meetings include representation from all college departments as well as leadership from the instructional site.

To date, the Task Force has:

  • Created a webpage with timeline, student services, events, news and email archive
  • Created regular email communication for college faculty and staff
  • Seated four subcommittee groups to focus on strategic areas of the college’s move to Sugar Land
  • Crafted strategic goals and tasks that define the work and timeline of the task force

The four subcommittee groups are:

  • Student Success
  • Transition Logistics
  • Future Growth and Academic Transition
  • Communication
