Information for Undergraduate Students
The Technology Division at the Cullen College of Engineering currently offers eleven (11) fully accredited undergraduate degree programs. Our diverse program options help prepare students to meet the needs of a dynamic marketplace that demands competent, well-trained technologists.
The college also offers PROMES, an academic excellence program that offers workshops, mentoring sessions and group activities to Cullen College students. In addition, the college has a dynamic Career Center available for students looking for professional development workshops, internships and jobs.

Freshman Admission Requirements
Freshman admission into the Technology Division’s undergraduate programs has additional requirements beyond the University of Houston’s freshman admissions criteria.

Several Technology Division majors have additional requirements beyond the UH transfer admission criteria. The additional requirements for those specific majors are detailed below.

International students must meet the Technology Division admission requirements listed above, in addition to satisfying all other UH admission requirements for international students. More information can be found here.
Readmission
Former students must apply for re-admission if you:
- were previously enrolled in undergraduate coursework at the University of Houston and
- are ready to return to UH after an enrollment pause of 13 months or longer or
- are ready to return to UH from academic suspension
