Options Explained
Project
Offered in nearly all our graduate programs, the project option is a way to apply in-depth knowledge of a given area to a practical endeavor. Students work with faculty advisors to complete this option, and may choose a topic relevant to their current workplace.
Thesis
The thesis option, the most traditional pursuit, is offered in all but one of our graduate programs. Advised by faculty, it is an opportunity to conduct in-depth research in the student's chosen field. In addition to performing research and reporting findings, students are required to present a proposal defense and a thesis defense to complete this option.
Coursework
The coursework option offered by the Global Retailing and Human Resource Development programs offers a unique perspective that focuses on equipping our students with the necessary skills and abilities to become more marketable in the workforce. Students are challenged to perform and display a scholarly approach to their assignments and course deliverables, preparing them to become industry leaders.
Internship
The internship option offered in our Foresight program provides real world experience while earning an advanced degree. In addition to being prepared for the workforce academically, students that complete this option also possess the special skill-set to advance and perform well as professionals.
