Black Belt Course Description

Black Belts lead Lean Six Sigma project teams, mentor Green Belts, and liaise with Master Black Belts and Champions to achieve significant performance improvement and economic impact. As a Black Belt candidate, you will be trained to identify opportunities for improvement within your organization, use Lean Six Sigma methodology, and apply the correct tools and techniques to a Lean Six Sigma project. After the training, you will have the skill set needed to lead Lean Six Sigma projects throughout your organization to achieve significant financial and customer service improvement.

Prerequisite: Certified in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training (through UH or another reputable provider)

Course Offerings

  • Online, self-paced format* - Up to 80 hr. of online instruction provided through a learning management system that you will have access to for 12 weeks
  • This course can also be offered in a hybrid/blended or face-to-face format, upon request - 80 hr. of face-to-face instruction over 5 weeks (8 hr./day for 1 week, 3 week break, and then another 8 hr./day for 1 week). This course can be hosted on-site at your location for a group of approximately 10-20 participants. Please contact us to obtain a quote.
