The Digital Media Program is thrilled to formally invite you all to the Spring 2025 DIGIFEST extravaganza. DIGIFEST is our annual event where 100+ seniors get to showcase their work to potential employers, advisory board members, alumni, and University Faculty/Administrators. The event is structured as a reverse job fair, where our senior students showcase a portfolio of their best work and present it to prospective employers who approach them. They have been preparing for this diligently for many years and are eager to show what they have done.
DIGIFEST is our flagship event of the year, and kicking off the event will be our keynote speaker Dr. Joe Steinhardt, coming all the way from Philadelphia where he coordinates the world-famous Music Industry program at Drexel University’s Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design. He is also an American singer, musician, record producer, graphic novel author, and best known as the co-founder of Don Giovanni Records, which has released over 300 records in its 20-year history. He will be coming to UH directly from their SXSW Label Showcase and kick things off with a discussion of the current state of the Digital Media industry.
Every year DIGIFEST keeps getting bigger and better, and we are continuing to innovate. For the first time, we are offering table space in the hallway for digital media businesses and professionals to establish their presence and showcase their services. Additionally, a quieter area has been set aside for companies to pull students off the floor for interviews and to discuss potential futures with our seniors and your company.
The Digital Media Program is thrilled to host this event for our students and to invite everyone to come and be a part of it. To get a headcount and to reserve table space for companies (some companies have already claimed rooms), we ask that you fill out the RSVP form by March 17, 2025.
