Mark Hargrove is a designer and since 1989, the principal of Hargrove Design Group, an award-winning Houston-based design firm that has been listed as one of the Houston Business Journal's Top 25 design firms.
Today, Hargrove Design Group uses state-of-the-art technology and traditional methods to create visually distinctive corporate identity packages, brochures, websites, direct mail, multimedia presentations, illustrations, photography, packaging, signage, catalogs and national advertising campaigns.
Mark graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (BFA) in Graphic Communication and has received a Masters of Science degree (MS), Summa Cum Laude, in Instructional Technology from the University of Houston Clear Lake.
Prior to opening Hargrove Design Group, Mark served as the Art Director for several national and international magazines, as well as the Creative Director of a Houston-based advertising agency. Although Mark's primary professional focus is Hargrove Design Group, he is also a partner in Optemax, a company that specializes in e-marketing programs.
Mark was an instructor at The Art Institute of Houston, for 12 years, he has guided students in the design and execution of multimedia projects. He joined The University of Houston in the fall of 2012.
