Dr. Carole E. Goodson is a Professor of Technology at the University of Houston. She has served in a variety of administrative positions including Associate Dean for the College of Technology and Department Chair of three departments within the College. Teaching and publishing activities have centered on assessment practices, statistics, and the development of web-based courses such as Assessment and Evaluation in Training and Development, Applied Technical Statistics, and Statistical Methods for Training and Development. Her activities have been funded through work on grants from the National Science Foundation and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. An active member of American Society of Engineering Education, she is a member of the Academy of Fellows, a past member of the Board of Directors, and has held the positions of Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Engineering Technology, Director of the Engineering Technology Council, Chair of the Education, Research and Methods Division, and Chair of the Gulf Southwest Section. She received her Doctorate in Education from the University of Houston.
