The deadline is May 9, 2025 for awards in the next academic year.
Several scholarships are available from various donations, as described below. A single application should be submitted through the Collective Scholarship Application; the applicant will be considered for all scholarships for which the specified criteria are met. Scholarships are awarded once a year, and the number of scholarships depends on available funds.
Applications are reviewed by a Scholarships Committee composed of faculty of the Human Development and Consumer Sciences Department. Awards decisions are based on consideration of all application criteria, and award decisions are final.

Other Scholarships
- NextGENeration Scholarship
Established by a consortium of institutions to build and sustain the future of the workforce in food, agriculture, natural resources, and human sciences. Current or incoming UH students who are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and majoring in Retail and Consumer Science (RCS) or Global Retailing (GRET) are eligible to apply. The scholarship opportunity funds $5,000 for undergraduates and $7,000 for graduates.
