Program Overview

HRD is leading people, teams, and organizations through change and innovation. HRD professionals are experts in workforce training, career management, and organizational change and development.

Graduates of the HRD program are prepared to work in a wide range of industries including energy, transportation, healthcare, retail, and education. Job titles include training specialist, training manager, instructional designer, human resources manager, organizational development manager, training facilitator, and human resource development consultant.

The HRD program offers online, hybrid, and face-to-face classes at the University of Houston and the University of Houston at Sugar Land.
