Master of Science in Human Resource Development

The Master of Science in Human Resource Development (HRD) program requires a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) from an accredited institution and a minimum GPA of 3.00. Applicants with GPAs between 2.75–2.99 may be considered for conditional admission.

Admissions

Admissions are conducted on a rolling basis for Fall and Spring semesters of each academic year. To be considered for admission, an applicant must submit the required materials and meet the following criteria:

Admission Requirements

  1. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  2. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 (A=4.00). Conditional admission is possible with a GPA between 2.75–2.99.
  3. Three letters of recommendation.
  4. A personal/goal statement (1–2 pages) describing current employment, professional goals, and relevant experiences.
  5. Official transcripts from all prior coursework. Scanned copies of official transcripts can be uploaded as PDF files and may be used by programs to make admission decisions. If admitted, however, you will not be able to enroll without the official transcript(s) showing undergraduate degree conferral on file.
  6. Optional: Resume.
  7. For international applicants: English language proficiency scores (TOEFL: 79 or IELTS: 6.5 or Duolingo: 105).

International Applicants

International applicants must meet all general requirements and provide:

  • Transcripts evaluated and translated into English.
  • Proof of English language proficiency (TOEFL: 79 or IELTS: 6.5 or Duolingo: 105).
  • F-1 Visa documentation (if applicable)
