BIOGRAPHY
Can Le is the Instructional Lab Manager of the Digital Media Program at UH Cullen College of Engineering. His primary areas of expertise include digital media automation specifically XMPie Circle & Cross Media, Color Management, Databases, and Packaging. His colleagues and students recognize him for his extensive knowledge in digital media technology and his ability to resolve even the most challenging technical issues while keeping a positive attitude and exceptional dedication. He goes “far beyond the call of duty” and is considered “one of the most important people in the DIGM program.'"
Can Le was born and raised in Vietnam. He earned his first BS in Computer Science from HCMC University of Technology in 1987, and worked there as a Senior Lecturer for 10 years. He taught a wide range of computer science courses, including programming languages, database management, and computer graphics. He earned a second BS in Technology Leadership and Supervision from the University of Houston in 2006, in addition to a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification from Southern Methodist University and G7/Color Management Expert Professional certificates from IDEAlliance.
Can Le has been married to Hong-Phuoc since 1988 and has two children. Their son is a successful businessman who graduated from UH Bauer College of Business, and their daughter is a talented Software Engineer.
