Master of Science in Cybersecurity
The Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity is a hands-on program designed specifically to prepare individuals for responsible leadership roles in cybersecurity. Designed for working professionals, this two-year program connects theory and experiential learning to equip technology professionals with the skills to assess the security needs of information systems and then to lead and manage the implementation and maintenance of the recommended security solutions. Admission to the program requires a bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, CIS, or a related computing field with experience in cybersecurity. Previous work in a technical job involving system administration or security is recommended.
The program is recognized by the National Security Agency/Department of Homeland Security as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education program. Coupled with the Center for Information Security Research and Education, this program offers opportunities to participate in innovative applied research.
