Anna Salas is a Sr. Technical Recruiter with Amazon Web Services (AWS). She has been with AWS for 3 years, supporting recruiting and hiring of technical roles such as Specialist Solutions Architects, Business Intelligence Engineers, and Customer Support Engineers. Previously, Anna was a Talent Acquisition Partner at Ingersoll Rand, a manufacturing organization, where she conducted full lifecycle recruiting of mechanical, electric, and computer engineers. Anna started her career as a Career Coach at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she counseled students in career and major decision making and assisted them in their job search via resume reviews, mock interviews, hosting career fairs, and more. Anna possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counseling from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She lives in Charlotte, NC with her husband and baby girl.

Sr. Mgr., Global Partner SA (Scale) and AWS GameDay, AWS

Marie is a Senior Manager of the Global Partner Solutions Architecture (Scale) and AWS GameDay teams at Amazon Web Services (AWS). She has been with AWS since 2016, and working in the AWS Partner Network (APN) since 2018. Her team works closely with ISVs and SIs that are part of the APN to ensure AWS security best practices and also enable AWS customers to jointly drive go to market activities such as webinars, technical blogs, and demonstrations. Her team also works closely with AWS Partners to integrate their existing solutions into technical enablement scenarios through AWS GameDay. Prior to this role, Marie was a part of the AWS Educate Program where she led an initiative to help top universities and computer science professors establish their classrooms and students on AWS. Outside of work, Marie is always working on the next home or yard project with her partner and has become an amateur expert at mixing concrete. She is also an avid reader and regularly listens to true crime and NPR podcasts.

Prior to AWS, he was a Technical Solutions Architect at Cisco. He holds multiple industry certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional and Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), and has 14 years of industry experience. He is passionate about helping companies solve complex business problems by using technology.

Shaun Baker currently serves as Senior Manager - Solutions Architecture for Amazon Web Services (AWS) and works in support of Royal Dutch Shell where he leads a team of six Solution Architects. Among other roles, Shaun has also served as Director and Chief Enterprise Architect for BP’s Data and Digital Platforms. In this role Shaun led Strategy and Architecture for AWS, the journey to hybrid cloud for the support of austere environments, the data fabric, data lakes and evolution to a microservice based organization. Shaun holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the US Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Indiana University.
