About UH Extend

UH Extend is a new University of Houston initiative designed for students seeking fully online degree and certificate programs that are both convenient and affordable. The cost of a college degree or certificate program is an important factor when deciding to invest in educational goals, and UH Extend helps students control this cost by charging a flat tuition rate, with no additional mandatory fees. Undergraduate students are eligible for the Cougar Textbook Access Program (CTAP). CTAP fees are automatically charged to student fee bills, but students have the option to opt out.

UH Extend students pay the same tuition, regardless of residency. So, in state, out of state and international students are charged the same flat rate, set by the individual program. UH Extend programs are fully online and taught using the same quality standards as our face-to-face programs, and our experienced instructors and academic support staff are committed to your success.
