The AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification training at UH is now online – live, synchronous, real-time, instructor-led, virtual classroom. This is a comprehensive, instructor-led with hands-on whiteboard discussions and labs training. The training covers 100% of the content for both certifications, the AWS Cloud Practitioner and the AWS Solutions Architect - Associate. Immediately after the training, participants will be prepared to take and pass both certification exams.

We meet every Saturday starting on June 8th, 2024 for 6 consecutive Saturdays, ending on July 13th, 2024. Training is from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM CT, but the instructor stays with the group after every session and answer all questions from the participants for as long as it takes before ending the call. The instructor is also available for review and consultations during the week for “office hours” upon request from the participants.

Notice that the session scheduled for August 2024 is reserved for corporate training. The only time you can register for this summer is for the June session starting on June 8th.

Practical Learning Experience

  • Mastering cloud computing architecture design requires a strong foundation in IT concepts and skills. Delivered through interactive instructor-led classes, students will receive:
  • Hands-on Experience with the AWS platform – 15 online labs, activities and projects across the curriculum
  • Detailed course content (manuals/presentation content with speaker notes, labs, video content, eLearning modules, and knowledge checks)
  • Online knowledge assessments after each module
  • Challenging scenario-based exercises and projects with lab requirements that reinforce topics within the curriculum

Instructor-led Sessions

The seven-week training includes a review of the best practice to study for the exams, including the unique opportunity to meet the instructor for a specialized Q&A and exam preparation session.

Preferred Prequisite Knowledge

AWS Solutions Architect — Associate Certification Content and Exam:
