Creating Value through HR

Renowned university professor, author, speaker, and management coach and consultant, Dave Ulrich, will be the featured presenter for the University of Houston Executive Human Resource Development luncheon, Tuesday, October 8. The event will be held at the Marriott Marquis Houston. Attendees will include UH College of Technology HRD students, faculty, and selected industry professionals. In his presentation, Creating Value through HR, Ulrich will review multiple domain and specific actions HR can take to deliver increased value. Following the luncheon, Ulrich will deliver a presentation to students on the UH campus. The presentation, Leadership in Today’s Changing World, will define why leadership matters and share specific insight into how to turn ideas into impact, build better teams and improve leadership skills.

About Dr. Dave Ulrich

A fellow in the National Academy of Human Resources, Dave Ulrich is the Rensis Likert Professor of Business at the Ross School, University of Michigan and a partner at the RBL Group, a consulting firm focused on helping organizations and leaders deliver value. He has published over 200 articles and book chapters and over 30 books. Ulrich has an impressive track record of professional service, including editor of Human Resource Management, the editorial board of four Journals, Board of Directors for Herman Miller and Board of Trustees at Southern Virginia University. He is a noted speaker internationally having performed workshops for many Fortune 200 organizations. A coach to successful business leaders, he is known for continually learning, turning complex ideas into simple solutions, and creating real value to those he works with in three fields.
