Dr. Andy Hines, assistant professor of foresight, has earned a Fulbright Fellowship to work on the internationalization of higher education with the Bureau at Higher Education Commission (OHEC) for the Thailand Ministry of Education in Bangkok.

The primary goal is to help prepare Thailand’s higher education institutions for the future. Dr. Hines’s role will be to map the future development of internationalization, identify its implications, and assist in developing an appropriate future-oriented strategy. His research will focus on developing a plan to help set a future direction for OHEC and Thai universities. The work plan includes a busy schedule of talks, workshops, and seminars with key stakeholders in education and government.

The Fellowship begins May 24, 2019 and runs through June 22, 2019.
