The University of Houston Technology Alumni Association has awarded a scholarship to Anthony Salcido, a senior majoring in electrical power engineering technology.  Salcido has been very active in various roles at the University including residential life as an advisor, Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity as an executive board member and recruitment chair; and, counselor for Cub Camp, a three-day extended orientation for incoming freshmen focused on the transition to the University of Houston. In addition, Salcido served on the board of directors for the UH Frontier Fiesta 2018 as director of operations. As the director of court for the 2018 Homecoming Board, he looks forward to managing the process for selection of the next Homecoming King and Queen. Anthony’s aspiration is to showcase his Cougar pride in industry as an electrical engineer after he graduates from UH.
