Conklin Named Recipient of Ernie Rakaczky ICS Security Lifetime Achievement Award

Dr. William Arthur Conklin, associate professor in the department of information and logistics technology and director for the Center for Information Security Research and Education, was recently named a recipient of the Ernie Rakaczky ICS Security Lifetime Achievement Award, to be awarded at the 12th Annual SANS Industrial Control Systems Security Summit in Orlando, FL in March. Dr. Conklin received nominations and supporting documentation from several oil and gas firms as well as the U.S. Air Force (USAF). UH is the primary source of ICS security training for the USAF. Dr. Conklin hopes to move UH program's forward to being one of the best SCADA security programs in the nation.
