Winner of the Best in Category student award, Ranyah Al-Hebshi, was recognized at the Printing Industries of the Gulf Coast's Graphic Excellence Awards gala, held at the Doubletree in Greenway Plaza on April 22, 2015. Ranyah's graphic design of the 2015 Graphic Communications Week poster has been used in promotional materials for the digital media program in the UH College of Technology.
Additionally, senior digital media student Faith Garganta won an Award of Excellence for a variable data postcard project. Digital media faculty and staff attended the event with ten digital media seniors who scored the highest among the sixty portfolios displayed in the program's online senior show.
Each year the Printing Industries of the Gulf Coast's Graphic Excellence Awards Competition recognizes the best in technology and craftsmanship from the region's printing, imaging, finishing and creative community.
