Remember the COT in Your Year-end Giving

It's not too late to make a gift to the College of Technology for 2012! Help support tomorrow's alumni through our various programs and initiatives.

Gifts may be directed to any academic major within the college. Additionally, many general College of Technology funds are available for your support, including:

  • General Scholarship Fund: only 2 percent of the college's 3700-plus students receive academic support in the form of scholarships. The general scholarship fund allows students of any major, graduate or undergraduate, to receive assistance. This is particularly helpful to those in a major where specific scholarships are not offered.
  • Celebrating 70 Fund: while the 70th anniversary may have ended, the need for maintenance and upgrade of the college's facilities continues. Many upgrades to laboratories and classrooms are underway, and more are planned in 2013. The "sponsor a year in COT history" portion of the campaign also continues for those donating $1000 or greater.
  • Dean's Discretionary Fund: this fund provides for needs of the college that are not or cannot be paid from state or tuition and fee funding. This includes certain marketing and recruitment efforts, as well as certain faculty and staff development expenses and travel for student competition teams.
