The College of Technology continues to celebrate its 70th anniversary through the remainder of the 2011 - 2012 academic year.
Last fall, the COT launched the Celebrating 70 Anniversary Fund, commemorating its growth over the past seven decades and focusing on its future. Centered on ensuring technology students have access to the best facilities and equipment available, the campaign is an opportunity for COT friends and alumni to show their support for the college's future.
The Technology Annex, opened in fall 1941 as the third building on the UH main campus, is one of three buildings that have served the college well throughout the years. All contributions to the Celebrating 70 fund will go to facility repairs and maintenance, helping to provide future Technology students with state-of-the-art learning environments.
Naming opportunities exist, including naming of a classroom, office or laboratory space. Additionally, supporters may sponsor a year in the COT's history with a gift starting at $1,000 (payable in installments as low as $84/month for 12 months).
