Russ Gundrum, Senior Project Manager-Business Communications Systems for AT&T and part-time faculty of the College of Technology presented his recently acquired patent "Digital Subscriber Line Induction Neutralizing Transformer Network" (US Patent # 7266154) to members of the IEEE Communications Society @ the AT&T Bellaire location. This is a new technique to protect DSL equipment, improve its operational reliability and transmission speed and extend the distance to allow more customers to be served high-speed Internet services, including IPTV.
