Visual Merchandising students in the Consumer Science and Merchandising program got the opportunity to apply theory to practice, studying visual displays at local boutiques and department stores. Dr. Alyssa Adomaitis took students to Melodrama Boutique and Lot 8 where they learned about factors that influence consumers’ behavior in a retail environment. The students will be visiting other local retailers in the coming weeks.
The Bachelor of Science in Consumer Science and Merchandising prepares professionals for fast-paced careers related to merchandising and the delivery of consumer goods and services in a variety of settings.
