The University of Houston has joined several universities and research institutes in the United States to work in Dynamic Circuit Network (DCN) project research. Currently under development, the Internet2 DC Network uses community-developed, standards-based technologies and protocols to provide on-demand, dedicated optical paths between endpoints across heterogeneous network technologies. A demonstration of DCN was prepared with the participation of UH AT&T Lab, TLC2, Internet2, and LEARN for the LEARN Board meeting May 30, 2008 @ UT Arlington.
