COT is Awarded EDA Grant

The Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (DoC EDA) has awarded a grant to the College of Technology Engineering Technology Department for its proposal "Center for Technology Literacy: An Upward Mobility Strategy for Economic Growth" that focuses on communities technology's literacy. The EDA review panel recommended the proposal in the top 3 for a new EDA/University sponsored center.

The UH AT&T Lab together with the Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center (TMAC), the Coordination Of Robotics Education (CORE), and others are organizing and hosting a number of workshops in the areas of Telecommunications and Computer Networking, Manufacturing and Robotics respectively.
