Students and faculty from the University of Houston College of Technology participated in The Career and Education Day Houston 2018 event organized by the Houston Hispanic Forum, Saturday, February 10, at the George Brown Convention center. Kamran Alba, assistant professor of engineering technology, Olamide Oladosu and Gaarthick Ravichandran who are students working in Dr. Alba’s Complex Fluids Laboratory represented the college with experiments that demonstrate multiphase and complex flows. “This represents our commitment to continuous outreach efforts on behalf of the engineering technology program,” said Dr. Alba. “We are constantly looking for innovative ways to expose potential students to opportunities in STEM fields,” he added.
