The College of Technology Spring 2013 Career Fair offers a unique opportunity for all majors to meet company representatives from a diverse range of industries - from chemical, and construction, to energy, engineering, computer technology, and retailing. Designed specifically for College of Technology students, the Career Fair will be held at the University of Houston on Wednesday, February 27, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the Houston Room of the University Center (UC).
In preparation for the career fair, Technology students can take advantage of special sessions designed to help improve their resumes.
All participating College of Technology students must use TechConnect to register for the resume critique sessions and the career fair. In addition, students can view a complete list of participating employers, apply for full-time, part-time and internship opportunities and upload resumes and cover letters.
How companies can participate:
The registration cost is $450 for companies to participate. The cost includes a booth with signage, lunch, and parking for two participants. The deadline to sign up is February 15. All prospective employers must register in TechConnect, at TechConnect where hiring managers can post jobs and review resumes as well.
