The Technology Alumni Association awarded eight scholarships to College of Technology students
At the annual meeting on August 7, the Technology Alumni Association awarded eight scholarships to College of Technology students. A total of $6,500 was awarded this year; funds for the scholarships are primarily supported by the net proceeds of the TAA annual golf tournament each spring.
Richard Akin, scholarships chairman, announced the following recipients:
- Holly Atkinson, freshman majoring in Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Amecos Banks, junior majoring in Construction Management
- Jayson Casallo, senior majoring in Construction Management
- Jazmin Diaz, senior majoring in Construction Management
- Clyde Ceferino Herulea, post-baccalaureate studying Computer Information Systems
- Robert Reno, sophomore majoring in Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Sandra Toju, junior majoring in Computer Information Systems
- Charles Webb, senior majoring in Construction Management
