The College of Technology at the University of Houston (UH) is proud to announce that Halliburton will present the second "Petroleum Industry Expert Series" event for 2012 on Wednesday, September 26 from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Hilton - University of Houston in the Conrad Hilton Room.
"We are very excited to announce that this second lecture will feature speed networking and a panelist discussion," said Jack Christiansen, Director of the Petroleum Technology Initiative, UH. "Our goal is to provide UH students, faculty, alumni and industry partners information about the most current issues and new emerging technologies in the energy industry in an interactive, learning environment."
"All of the panelists reflect diverse academic backgrounds found in the petroleum industry, and will direct their discussion to an audience of students from the College of Technology, the Cullen College of Engineering, and the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, along with UH faculty, alumni and industry partners," Christiansen added. Panelists will include Sarah Bennett, Merit Engineering Company; Jon Khachaturian, Versabar; and Lori McDowell, Matheson.
Dress code is business casual, refreshments will be served and parking will be provided at the Hilton.
