Guest speaker is Brent M. Longnecker, who brings three decades of consulting experience to inspire attraction, motivation and retention of key personnel on behalf of clients in all major industries. . A former partner of Deloitte amp; Touche and KPMG Peat Marwick, he formed the Houston-based executive compensation and corporate consulting firm of Longnecker amp; Associates (Lamp;A) in 2003, to keep a finger on this hot button for corporate watchdogs across the globe. Building on his track record of being widely quoted in national media and trade publications and a featured guest speaker and teacher, Longnecker earned the unique distinction of being the first executive compensation consultant named to Consulting Magazine's "2005 Top 25 Consultants." He graduated with a BBA and MBA with honors from the University of Houston.
In addition to electing officers and board members for the 2011 – 2012 year, the organization will also award six scholarships to current College of Technology students.
