Congratulations are in order for Katy Beth Sherman, a graduate student in Human Resource Development. Also a member of the UH softball team, Sherman was named to the Conference USA All-Academic Team for the second-straight season, the league office announced earlier this month.
The only grad student on the list, Sherman has scored 21 runs in C-USA games, ranking second in the league. A starter in the outfield, she also ranks second on the team in batting average (.333) and her 50 hits and 33 runs scored on the season puts her in the top 10 amongst all C-USA hitters. In addition to her on-field prowess, Sherman maintains a 3.66 GPA.
