The College of Technology exhibited for the fourth consecutive year at the Offshore Technology Conference at Reliant Park, highlighting the college's undergraduate and graduate programs, particularly the Petroleum Technology Initiative and Mechanical Engineering Technology. The director of the Petroleum Technology Initiative, Jack Christiansen and MET Professor Raresh Pascali were on-site to answer questions from attendees, and were helped by students in the programs, as well as other COT faculty and staff.
This year's booth featured a new display design and materials for distribution to educate attendees on the college's offerings as related to the industry. Also showcased in the display were several student projects. Those students present were also able to network and visit other exhibitor booths during the show.
The college will participate again in OTC 2012.
