Policies and Procedures of the Executive Leadership, Budgeting and Finance Programs

Noncredit Policies and Other Important Information

Training Contact Hours & Continuing Education Units (CEU's)

Training (CEUs) are offered for full participation in most courses. The CEU is defined as "10 contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction." To receive CEUs for courses participants must attend at least 80 percent of the class sessions and successfully complete the program. (Successful completion is determined by individual program requirements. Some programs may set greater minimum attendance standards.) Continuing education units are recognized nationally as a measure of substantive in-service education and training.

Academic Honesty Policy

All program participants are expected to observe accepted principles of academic honesty. Should a violation of the University Academic Honesty Policy be reported, the case will be handled using the same guidelines and policies that apply to students enrolled in academic programs.

Confidentiality of Student Records

A request made to withhold public information remains in effect until revoked in writing. Written requests may be emailed to: mburns2 [at] uh.edu (mburns2[at]uh[dot]edu)
