Sponsorships and support from the industry partners are always welcome. Since the beginning, the PTI effort has generated strong interest and support from major companies and organizations, including ExxonMobil, DrillQuip, Merrick Systems, Halliburton, FMC Technologies, Transocean, the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), the Association of Wellhead Equipment Manufacturers (AWHEM), and the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA), LUKOIL Overseas, PDVSA, Energy Rubber Group (ERG), World Oil, and Offshore Magazine (PennWell).
In our continuing effort to develop new educational programs, our corporate sponsors support the PTI through voluntary contributions of the funds, and /or training programs for UH students with the companies, such as PTI Camp ‘DRIL-QUIP’ and/or PTI Camp ‘RED’. Camps with the companies allow students to get hands-on experience, and broaden their interests and involvement with the energy industry.
